On August 12th, 2007, I stepped into this prestigious institution ‘ST. THOMAS SCHOOL’. It was then, a primary school. I joined as a TGT Social Science teacher. This school has provided me a platform to enhance my skills and my understanding with my students .I am much obliged to the management to found me fit for the post. It comes up with very cooperative management and colleagues and I am grateful to be a part of St. Thomas family . And now it’s been fifteen very beautiful years of being a teacher at this institution. Everyday was a different experience , encountering new opportunities and challenges. Being a teacher is much more than a profession. A teacher’s influence extends beyond the classroom,well into the future. I try my best to bring out the best in my students. I demonstrate my faith in their abilities. I am a witness to their joys ,sorrows and achievements . I have seen students of St.Thomas achieving milestones in academics,sports,cultural skills and this is something that fills me with immense pride .
One of the most overwhelming parts of my journey is seeing my tiny tots emerging into responsible,intellectual, creative and confident humans, they are the caterpillars who have now got wings to fly. Joining the St. Thomas family is one of my best decisions. Dr. Radhakrishnan once said, Your life as a teacher begins the day you realize that you are always a learner, keeping this is in mind, I will continue to serve this school with all my determination and hard work. May this institution and the students achieve greater heights!
